Love : Eyeko Toffee Fat Balm

Sooo..
I know, its been a long time since I blogged!
I've been busy with pressing schedules and all that.

Today I would like to do a review on my current fave, the Eyeko Toffee Fat Balm! Mmmmm.. ;)
Toffee-lovey!
This shade is a little nude and I love it!
The cute little box.
Smooth this onto cheeks for a natural flush. ;)
I've tried this and I look sun-kissed! =)

The ingredients list.

The other side of the lovely box.

I really love the illustrations in any Eyeko packaging.

Here's whats inside :
*points* THE FATBALM!
Yummy!

The delicious (NOT edible) balm.

OK, before the swatches, let me share a little on this balm.
This fat balm is ideal for your lips and cheeks.
I have previously reviewed the Raspberry and Strawberry fat balm, and well, they are all about the same in terms of texture, feel, moisture level, colour pay-off and all that.
These fat balms are very pigmented.
Now, many of you wonder what's the difference between the old and the new fat balm.
Well, the old fat balm does NOT contain SPF, while the new one does. (SPF15)

In terms of colour though, the Strawberry fat balm gives off a reddish tint which is ideal for dates or casual days out with your friends or the boyfriend.
The Raspberry fat balm, on the other hand, to me, is a MLBB shade. (My Lips But Better)
A lot of people said this fat balm is a little too dark for them (?) but I find it just fine.
I am a little tanned for an Asian. ;)
As for the Toffee fat balm, this fat balm does smell like toffees. Reminds me of my childhood days. Its brownish in colour, so this was a little scary for me when I saw this.
However, the moment I applied this, I was satisfied.
Why?
Well, this fat balm does make my lips look naturally gorgeous, and is suitable for everyday use.
It gives off a sort of nude shade too, which is perfect when paired with smokey eyes.

For more on my thoughts of this winning beauty product, do view my previous two reviews on the Raspberry and Strawberry fat balm.

Here are the swatches (taken in different lightings) :
Natural light

Outdoors.

This fat balm retails for RM33 (USD10) at the Eyeko website.

Love : Eyeko Lilac Polish

Dear Lilac Polish,
When I first saw you, I underestimated you. I thought, like any other lilac polishes I have, you're just one of the typicals. Little did I know, I was wrong.
You're the most beautiful, gorgeous lilac polish I've ever seen.
Oh, and your formulation's one of the best too. Really smooth, really glossy; I love.

Retails at $6, you rule at Eyeko!
My ambassador code is E6980, leave it in the checkout box for a free gift, don't forget!
Til then, thank you, Lilac Polish, for making my nails gorgeous as ever.

Love : Eyeko London Lips and Fat Balm Love!

Okay, this review is going to be bombarded with lots of photos.
Reason being?
I am fascinated by the pretty packaging Eyeko gives, as usual. And the products are currently on top of my favourites list!
Recently, I did a huge Eyeko purchase and bought plenty of lip products. Among the London Lips I got for myself was the Mayfair (given to me in a gift pack) , Primrose Hill and Soho ones. Actually, I bought two sets of London Lips but the remaining ones were already given off to friends and family members as birthday presents. I am planning to buy more for friends and family members when Christmas comes. Hooray for Christmas presents!
Anyway, I got the Fat Balms as well. But today I will only do reviews on two new loves, the Eyeko Fat Balm in Raspberry and the London Lips in Primrose Hill.
I promise I will do more reviews on the remaining London Lips and Fat Balms soon!
I will also do nail polish reviews soon! ;)
Firstly, my star product, the London Lips will be reviewed, followed by the fat balm. =)
They come in a set (Pucker Up!) along with the Liptastik in Loudmouth (which I gave to my mum for her birthday -.-), planning to get Loudmouth for myself soon as my mum raves about it.

The gorgeous packaging.

See the specks of gold shimmers? Gorgeous.

Primrose Hill is the best!

So, the moment I received the packaging, I was in awe.
This packaging is really classy. I love the London logos!

The ultra glossy and pretty Primrose Hill.
I can't help gushing about its beauty!

The lip swatch. Me loves!

The moment I took a whiff of this packaging (yes, packaging) I can immediately smell the scent of fresh bubblegum lingering around. Yummy!
Despite being described as sweetly scented with a fruity fragrance, I beg to differ. Honestly, to me there wasn't any fruity fragrance at all. Instead, this smells so bubblegummy, it reminds me of Hershey's Bubble Yum bubblegum in Original. Lol. =)

The description of this flavour is as below :
Primrose Hill
A pretty lilac shimmer for girls on the go. This suits-all shade is ultra flattering.
-Eyeko

To me, the swatch in the Eyeko website is slightly different from the one in real life, so yes, you gotta check blogs for this.
The colour of this lip gloss is actually kind of lilac, a dark lilac. This has ultra pretty gold specks in it, making it gorgeous from every lip angle.
Eyeko described this as being non-sticky. Actually, it IS non-sticky, but due to its thick texture, it somehow becomes sticky.

My overall rating :
Packaging : 5/5 stars.
Love the London logos. Love the applicator. You can directly apply the lip gloss to your lips using the slightly sharp solid shape applicator.
The lip gloss is approximately 13.5g, which is decent. I use this everyday, and it is amazing!
Colour : 5/5 stars.
Gorgeous! Although it is something like a dark lilac, it goes pretty clear with a hint of colour and lots of shimmer. I love it!
This, like what the Eyeko website has described, definitely suits every skin tone.
Scent : 5/5 stars.
Honestly, the first time I took a sniff of this lip gloss, I was overwhelmed with the strong sweet scent. However, the moment I applied this onto my lips, the scent sort of 'toned down' and I start to fall for it! This does not have a taste, (I actually expected this to taste like bubblegum, but I was wrong) and I am glad this does not taste eugh! , or what we say, chemical. Cos certain lip glosses smell great but taste so chemical, I would just chuck them into the dustbin as they make me puke.
This smells like bubblegum, so all you bubblegum fans, good news for you! And for me! ;)
Quality : 4/5 stars.
I love this lip gloss so much, I actually use it even at home. I know, crazy me.
Lol.
The texture of this lip gloss is thick, making it appear sticky, although its not. Trust me, I did a sticky test on this lip gloss and it passed. The only time it appears sticky is when its applied on your lips, as this, like I said, is thick. Therefore, when the wind blows, somehow do expect your hair to stick to your lips, cos it happened to me.
I love the quality of this lip gloss. It is moisturising, super glossy and super shimmery. I received compliments from using this lip gloss.
The staying power is decent. Maximum staying power is 5 hours, provided you just drink water and did not eat.
Price : 3/5 stars.
Now this kind of bugged me. Lol. It is worth $10, which is RM32.
This lip gloss lasts only 6 months after opening, so its like RM5.30 a month? (yes, I actually calculated)
It is kind of worth it, as I love it! And there are other lip glosses more expensive than this. This reminds me of Lancome Juicy Tubes, but I prefer this more.
So overall, I love this! This is my HG lip gloss. ;D
You can buy this here, and use my code E6980 for a free gift!

Next, is also my current love, the Eyeko Raspberry Fat Balm.
I totally love this as this is a MLBB shade. (my lips but better)
I am Chinese, so my skintone is kind of tanned.
Anyway, I totally love love love this shade and I love pairing this up with my Primrose Hill lip gloss.

First, the pretty pretty pictures.

The new packaging!
The description.
SPF 15! (points above excitedly)

Ingredients list.

Now, this has no shimmers in it. It is matte and so, it is perfect as an everyday balm.
The tagline "Does my balm look big in this?" is cheeky. ;D

Description below :
Eyeko Raspberry Fat Balm
Just-bitten lip-look! Keeps lips satin smooth and adds a warm glow to cheeks.
-Eyeko

This description is absolutely correct! It gives me a just bitten look on my lips and a blushed look on my cheeks. Reminds me every time I see my boyfriend and sparks fly. *blushes*

Here are my ratings :
Packaging : 5/5 stars.
A winner, as usual!
I got used to the fat applicator (hence the name Fat Balm).
Love it!
Colour : 5/5 stars.
My lips but better.
Very warm. Adds a tinge of glow to my cheeks and lips.
I love wearing this to classes and outings.
Quality : 5/5 stars.
With added SPF 15, this is ultra moisturising.
Highly pigmented, another love!
I like that its matte, no shimmer. Perfect for everydays.
I usually pair this up with the London Lips Primrose Hill.
Scent : 2/5 stars.
Okay, this is a slight disapointment. Unlike the Strawberry and Minty ones, which smells exactly like strawberries and mint, this smells kind of chemical. There is a faint scent of raspberries though.
This tastes okay. There is no chemical taste though, thank goodness.
Price : 4/5 stars.
This is the exact same price with the London Lips. RM32, $10.
I think this is kind of affordable as it is a lip and cheek stain.
And you can't really find these in Malaysia. The closest you can get is Stila's stain and Benefit's Benetint.

Overall, I am impressed with this as well. I will be going to summer camp soon so will be promoting this to friends I will be making! ;D

Oh, and more pictures!
Hand swatch.
Lip swatch.

Oh, and a combo of this and the London Lips Primrose Hill!
Gorgeous, eh?

You can get both of this at www.eyeko.com.
Also, use my code E6980 for a free gift with any purchase above $15!
I hope you enjoy Eyeko as much as I do!

Toodles!

Love : Short Post On Eyeko Cream and Ways On Using It!

Hello!
I'm sorry for the late updates and all.
Have been really busy lately.
Anyway, I'm sure you all know by now that I am a fan of Eyeko's Tinted Cream.
The Tinted version is fabulous! (I will be doing a post soon on ways on using the Tinted Cream!)
The Eyeko Cream (the famous one, yes yes!) is also a favourite of mine.
However, today you will not be seeing a post reviewing it (from me, that is) as I will be reviewing the Eyeko Cream in a week's time. Awww, sad. I know!
Anyway just a short one on the Eyeko Cream. (the actual review will be up in a week's time)
It is a universal cream colour. Universal as in, its perfect for every women of every skintone.
Yay for every women! ;)
I myself am tanned and I'm so glad this cream blends in really well leaving gold shimmers on my skin! :D SPARKLY!

This cream comes in a cute pink plastic tube.
It is frangrance-free, another plus point!
My mum is also a huge fan of this cream as it helps 'revive' her pale skin tone.
I know, mother's fair, daughter's tanned! -.-

These are swatches of the Eyeko Cream blended in!
Trust me, the pictures do no justice.
I will be posting up more and more pretty sparkly pictures of the cream blended in my skin for you guys to see when I do the review soon!
Without flash.
See, no justice!

I know I am somehow late in reviewing and sharing about the Eyeko Cream, as now people are raving about the Eyeko Cream with Extra Glow.
Honestly, I shrieked with excitement when I saw the Eyeko Cream with Extra Glow; as instead of gold sparkles, they contain silver sparkles. And oh, I love silver!
However I am still saving up for it.(as it costs me about $21.50 (?) for a tube with postage. I am currently not having much money with me.) But I promise I will do a review about the amazing one with Extra Glow once I purchase it and got it!

By the way, if you shop with Eyeko, use this code E6980 in order to get a free gift! ;)

Now, I will hop on to ways in using this Eyeko Cream!
I know a lot of you who own the cream probably wonder.. besides highlighting, what else can I do?
Well, let me tell you.. A LOT!
This cream works wonders! And I mean wonders! ;D
So let's start, shall we?
1. Your hair.
Yes, mix this cream with your leave in conditioner and apply this mixture on your hair strands!
DO NOT apply this mixture on your hair roots as we do not like oily scalp!
2. Your cheeks.
Apply this cream onto your cheeks..especially your cheek bones!
3. Your brows.
Make your brows look 'higher' with this cream.
4. Your legs.
Apply this cream to the mid section of your legs. As in, in the middle of your legs. That way, your legs will look really elongated! Hot!
5. Your eyes.
Apply this as a base before applying your shadow. Trust me, its gorgeous!
6. Your shoulders.
Apply this on your shoulders. And wear and off shoulder something.
That way, as light reflects on your shoulders, you will look really bewitching and pretty!
I really love using this trick for parties and gatherings and I get compliments from it!
7. Your belly.
Lol! Yes! When you are out at the beach, apply this right below your bikini. Near the place where your abs are. Or if you are like me, supposed to be.
That way, you will have the beach bod and trust me, people will envy.
8. Your cupid's bow.
Yes, this is a common one. Apply this onto your cupid's bow after applying lipstick.
Your lips will look really pouty aka Angelina Jolie!
9. Your arms.
Apply this onto your arms when you go out!
Make sure you apply to the middle of your arms. That way your arms will look longer.
10. Mix this with your blusher.
If you have a cream blusher, mix this with your blusher and apply it onto your cheeks like how you apply blusher!
That way your cheeks will look ultra shimmery and you will get the Nars Orgasm feel to it due to its gold sparkles.
11. Mix it with your eye shadow.
If you have powder eyeshadow, mix this with your eyeshadow. Make sure this is evenly mixed.
Trust me, your eyeshadow will look fab!

Alright, that's all for now!
Have fun beautifying yourself with the Eyeko Cream!
XOXO.

August Must-Haves!

So yes, I know this month is my fave month..September!
But I just gotta shout out my August must-haves!
A lot of them are drugstore brands and cheap; so you get quality and you save money as well!

They are :

(amazing amazing quality! RM5 per bottle. You must not miss this!)

(I love this so much, its brought everywhere by me!)
- The Face Shop Nail Color in PK105
(Peeps, bright HOT pink is the must-have this season! Go on, express yourself!)

(This is the MUST-BUY item! The base and top coat is of good quality and my nails are prepped and protected! Not only that, the shine it gives is wonderful! Super glossy!)
- Sunsilk Co-Creations for Straight Hair protecting leave on (co-created by Teddy Charles)

Love : Eyeko Indigo Polish for Sultry Nails

Before I start rambling, I should perhaps show you a cute photo I just took with my car and with a precious sticker. ;D
That's right, I'm a full-time Eyeko fan. =)
Indigo Polish with the cool Eyeko sticker!

Alright, now..
Before I start gushing on how much I love this polish, I apologise if you have to suffer from neck pains as you will have to tilt your head sideways from looking at certain photos.
Yes, they are a pain in the a$$!
The reason?
Because they aren't able to rotate. If I rotate, the quality of the picture will rotate as well. As in, the quality will become worse. And who likes bad quality? =/ Not me..

So, here is the queen of the day!
My new love : the Eyeko Indigo polish!
I just made my purchases with Eyeko few days ago and I was so glad they gave me another Indigo! Since the polish expires after six months of opening (short shelf-life, if you ask me), I mind as well get a back up. And I'm glad the people at Eyeko can read my mind! =P

I am a big fan of Eyeko and I love the nail polishes especially. The colours are gorgeous! ;D
I personally like to stand out from the crowd, but being an Eyeko ambassador, I feel the urge in sharing with you guys the awesomeness of this polish!

My camera may rock, but it failed max in capturing the beauty of this polish.
Trust me, this polish is my absolute fave! I've been getting compliments since wearing it few days ago!
Other nail polishes, glare in envy; cos this polish is gonna knock you off! =D

In case you are curious, the Eyeko Indigo polish is a blue-purple polish with lots of shimmers. The shimmers are absolutely amazing and very very very pretty. They somewhat remind me of OPI's Yoga-ta Get This Blue, or maybe, prettier!
I officially can't live without this polish!
With flash. =)
Sorry if the pictures are pretty messy. -.-

So here's my rating :
Packaging : 5/5 stars
Slim and small. Yet pretty. This is a pretty typical packaging..but what stands out are the labels. The labels are really cute and classy and chic. Yes. They are gorgeous.
Quality : 4/5 stars
The reason why I rated it a four out of five, was because I didn't really like the consistency and texture of this nail polish. I hope they improved the formula. Sometimes, I find it hard to apply the polish as it is kind of thick sometimes, which is bad. The pictures above are four coats of this nail polish. One or two coats ain't enough.
I know I might be a little bias by giving it a four, not a three. Let me tell you why.
One of the reasons why I gave this a four is because although the formula wasn't really a satisfaction kind of thing, the staying power is amazing! I'm having this polish on for a week without topcoat and it is still as it is! A little chip here and there, but yeah..its amazing!
The brush is wonderful too! It applies polish to my nails smoothly. ;D
I'm not really happy with the six months expiry date though..but I assume some of the ingredients are natural? Lol!
I like this polish so much, its in my make up bag! (a first as I don't put polishes in my make up bag..I place them in a drawer catered for polishes.)
Colour : 5/5 stars
Gorgeous! Full stop.
Price : 3/5 stars
The price is about the same with Revlon's nail polishes. Its about £3.50? (RM17.50)
I'm not the type who spends alot on nail polishes. I usually buy Elianto polishes cos they are great too (RM5 each)..but Eyeko polishes are awesome aplenty so its worth the buy!

Would I repurchase?
Already did!

Eyeko is a brand from the United Kingdom and you can purchase their items via www.eyeko.com.
